Your iPhone does the setup.
Your Watch takes it from there.
Use the iPhone camera, take a photo, or choose an existing image. WristCodes reads supported barcodes right on your device.
Review the verified barcode, add a label that makes sense to you, and save. Keep up to 20 passes neatly together.
Sync to your Watch, then swipe between cards. After syncing, your saved codes are ready even when your phone isn’t nearby.

A GOOD FIT STARTS HERE
A barcode on a screen is still a barcode. But not every barcode format—or every reader—is the same.
WristCodes currently supports ordinary, static Code 128 barcodes with letters, numbers and basic punctuation. Supported gym, library and club cards can all have a home here. Codes must be short enough to display clearly on the Watch.
Your reader needs to scan phone or Watch screens. Some laser readers only read printed cards. Test your saved code with the original card handy before relying on WristCodes.
Those aren’t supported in the current version. WristCodes does not support QR, UPC/EAN, GS1 coupon formats, or codes that refresh over time. Unsupported cards are rejected rather than converted to a different barcode type.
No. You use your paired iPhone to add and manage cards. Once the Watch has received them, they’re stored locally and work without a nearby phone or internet connection.
An iPhone running iOS 17 or later and a paired Apple Watch running watchOS 10 or later. Camera scanning depends on device support; photo import is also available. The Watch app comes with the iPhone app.
